The location will be Gijon but in contact with services legal entities throughout the globe.

your functions

The primary responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Working closely with Entity Accounting & Reporting Team and BPO to ensure
accurate and timely delivery of local and global financial statements.
Partnering with Entity Accounting & Reporting Team and Tax team to manage
effective statutory audits, tax and other regulatory requirements submissions
Partnering with Entity Accounting & Reporting Team to monitor month-end
closing activities and performance of outsource service center for improvement
opportunities.
Assist in monthly financial statements fluctuations review and accounts
reconciliations in accordance to corporate policies.
Provides management and financial statement users with relevant, comparable,
and accurate data on which to base decisions.
Adheres to internal control policies and procedures.
Continuously improves and serves as a resource in their area of responsibility.
Optimize and ensure effective running of end-to-end finance related processes
within the local organizations as well implement best practices.
Work closely with cross functional teams on specific country related initiatives.
Implement finance process improvement initiatives and internal controls
improvements.
Additional responsibilities of the position could include:
Initiate/participate/lead in various projects and research during the month when
requested
Support to maintain a strong control environment to ensure compliance with
regulatory requirements, internal controls, policies and guidelines

Bachelor¿s degree in accounting or finance. CPA preferred.
At least 3 years; audit experience in an international accounting firm or similar
accounting experience in multinational company. Big 4 preferred.
Good knowledge of accounting operations, closing activities and US/local GAAP.
Experience in preparation of Financial Statements is a plus.
Good command of written and verbal languages of English and Spanish.
Knowledge of Asian language (Chinese) is a plus.

Ability to effectively work and communicate with finance and cross functional
teams in various locations remotely for delivery of results.
Good understanding of computerized working environment (Excel, PowerPoint,
etc.). Knowledge of SAP R3 preferred.

Works independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and end-to-end.
Strong communication and analytical skills, among other to collaborate with
colleagues working at different locations and in different time zones.
