your functions
The successful candidate will work in an international program alongside a multi-disciplinary team of engineers. He/she will be responsible of software production for the electrical testing and verification of several units built by TAS-E (UUT) using designated EGSE¿s from our fleet, also built by TAS-E. He/she will join the Test Benches Engineering team, within CORE discipline (CORE-TBE).
The tasks will include:
¿ Develop and maintain test software scripts, libraries, drivers and processing tools that verify UUT electrically, functionally and performance-wise
¿ Understand of the UUT interfaces, test plan and test procedures.
¿ Understand the designated EGSE¿s and EGSE control platform, where test sequences will be executed.
¿ Test validation and follow up with UUT in a cleanroom or lab
¿ Collaborative work applying quality standards and internal processes
¿ Follow and derive functional and technical specifications and standards
¿ Preparation of the associated project documentation and reviews
¿ Take the leadership of its own activities on cost, schedule and quality requirements
¿ Travel may be required [0-3 times a year, 1-2 weeks each time]

Experiencia
: 3 años
- Bachelor¿s degree in telecommunications engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, aerospace engineering or other similar technical discipline.
-3 or more years of experience in object oriented programming and integration, C++ is preferred. Focus on developing maintainable code for Windows.
- The UUT¿s are digital and radiofrequency units that will be embarked on satellites for communication between spacecraft and the ground systems. Ideal candidate shall be knowledgeable about the following concepts:
o interface control document (ICD) and interface data sheets (IDS) templates
o command and control, in particular MIL-STD-1553 communications bus
o on-board software, patch, dump
o satellite telemetry and telecommands
o housekeeping
o others: RF links, motors, actuators, sensors, cameras
- Experience in testing and in test equipment for measurement and control: MIL-STD-1553 BC simulation interface, spectrum and signal analyzers, oscilloscopes, DC power supplies, data acquisition systems, etc.
- Experience with other bus and communications protocols such as GPIB, VISA, USB, I2C, CAN, Spacewire, SPI, UART.
- Experience in the following will be considered a plus: Labview FPGA, VHDL, scripting (eg. python, lua), HMI/GUI design, IVVQ
- Capable of understanding software project needs, implementing software specifications, validating software, support technical reviews and present results
- Languages: professional English and Spanish
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
