Our client is a leading global company in the chemical industry, committed to innovation and excellence. With the opening of a brand-new office in Barcelona, they are expanding their Technology Solutions team and looking for skilled professionals to enhance their data capabilities.
As a Data & integration Engineer, your mission will be to ensure seamless data integration and drive efficiency in their data lake and integration platforms.
your functions
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize data and integration applications to align with business needs.
- Design, configure, and implement Azure Synapse and MuleSoft solutions following best practices.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users.
- Ensure seamless integration of Synapse and MuleSoft with other business systems.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, customizations, and project-related activities.
- Conduct unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing to validate business requirements.
- Propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Participate in projects focused on building and integrating a Data Lakehouse and Integrations.

What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or Mathematics.
- Professional experience in data engineering projects.
- Strong SQL and PySpark coding skills.
- Experience in developing MuleSoft applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Fluent in English (C1/C2)
