our client
Our client is a well known multinational food company based in Barcelona.
We are looking for a Global Lead Data Architect who manages a team made up of Lead Data Architects. The team provides subject matter expertise in Azure data technology space including cloud architecture, security, data storage, data
ingest, data processing, AI and data visualization. The team is responsible
for supporting the adoption of the company's Data Platform (One Source) across
the company, as well as extending the platform capabilities to unlock new
use cases.
your functions
Your responsabilites:
1. Accountable for the design and technical guidance on the One Source platform. leveraging Lead Data Architects and technology experts on the compliance of the zone data products with the platform architecture and design patterns, as well as the platform standards.
2. Accountable: Ensure that OneSource platform adhere to security standards and compliance requirements.
3. Responsible: for the Technical Leadership on OneSource architecture design and related development patterns, defining and disseminating the knowledge of the platform standards to the region IT & Data teams.
4. Responsible: Work closely with stakeholders such as subject matter experts, vendors professional services, platform and security teams, Enterprise Architecture to align product developments according to well defined patterns and ways of working.
5. Contribute to the definition of new platform design patterns and standards, in collaboration with, Enterprise Architecture and our technology partners.
6. Contribute to the design of new platform building blocks (including enhancements), in collaboration with his/her peers, Enterprise Architecture and our technology partners.
7. Contribute: Take part in the OneSource platform FinOps strategy and implementation.

: 5 años
The requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in software development,
- 5+ years' experience in data architecture and integration,
- 5+ years' experience in team leadership.
- Master's degree in computer science, and/or Engineering, and/or Statistics, and/or Information Technology, and/or Information Systems, and/or Computer Engineering
- Proficiency in Azure Data Stack like Azure Databricks (Apache SparkTM, Apache SparkTM SQL, Delta Lake, Delta Sharing); Azure Data Lake Storage; Azure Data Factory; Azure Event Hubs; Unity Catalog; Delta Live Tables; Databricks SQL; Azure Key Vault...
- Proved experience on End-2-End Data platforms Architectural designs and deployments, Architecture Frameworks and Methodologies
- Strong Problem-solving oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to clearly explain and justify ideas when faced with competing alternatives,
- Strong aptitude for learning new technologies.
