your functions
Reporting to the department manager, the functions are:
- Understanding UUT interfaces, test plan and test procedures.
- Understanding the designated EGSEs.
- Develop and maintain test software scripts, libraries, drivers and processing tools that verify the UUT from electrical, functional and performance point of view.
- Test bench integration and validation from hardware point of view.
- Test validation and follow up with UUT in clean room or lab.
- Collaborative work applying quality standards and internal processes.
- Follow-up and derivation of functional and technical specifications and standards.
- Preparation of associated project documentation and reviews
- Assume leadership of own activities in terms of cost, schedule and quality requirements
- May be required to travel (0-5 times per year, 1-2 weeks each time) within EU

Experiencia
: 1 año
- Bachelor¿s degree in telecommunications engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, aerospace engineering or other similar technical discipline.
- Three (3) or more years of experience in object oriented programming and integration. C++ for Windows is preferred. Focus on developing maintainable code.
The UUT¿s are radiofrequency units that will be embarked on satellites for communication between spacecraft and the ground systems. Ideal candidate shall be knowledgeable about the following concepts:
o satellite telemetry and telecommands
o tracking
o ranging
o housekeeping
o command and control
o coding
o modulation
o transponder ¿ transmitter - receiver
o communications rf link
o interface control document (ICD) and interface data sheets (IDS) templates
- Experience in testing and in test equipment for measurement and control, including bus and communications protocols such as GPIB, VISA, USB, I2C, CAN, 1553, Spacewire, SPI.
- Experience in the following will be considered a plus (but it¿s not mandatory!): SW architecture, Front-end electronics and video chain electronics testing, Labview FPGA, VHDL, scripting, HMI/GUI design, IVVQ, System Engineering
- Capable of understanding software project needs, implementing software specifications, validating software, support technical reviews and present results
- Languages: professional English and Spanish
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
